What happens when you call
- You reach me, not a call center. The number rings my phone. I'm the one who turns up.
- A price before I move. Tell me what's happened and I'll quote you on the phone. That's the number you pay.
- An honest ETA. If I'm too far away to be useful, I'll say so instead of leaving you waiting.
- Non-destructive entry. Picking and bypass first. Drilling only if a lock genuinely can't be opened any other way, and only after I've explained why.
- Ownership check, every time. Photo ID plus registration or something showing the address. It takes thirty seconds and it protects you too.
Before you call
Three things that speed it up
- Where you are — a street address, a business name or a cross-street. Share your location by text if that's easier.
- What you're locked out of — car (year, make, model), house, apartment or business, and what kind of lock if you know.
- Proof it's yours — ID, and registration or something with the address. If it's all inside, tell me; we can usually sort that out once we're in.
If you're somewhere unsafe, or a child or pet is locked in a hot car, call 911 first. Then call me.

What people ask
Do you charge more at night or on weekends?
Whatever the rate is, you'll hear it on the phone before I set out — day, night, weekend or holiday. There's no separate fee that appears when I arrive.
How fast can you get here?
It depends on where I am and where you are. Rather than advertise a number I can't keep, I'll give you an honest arrival time when we speak — and if I'm too far away to be useful, I'll tell you that instead of taking the job.
Will you damage my door or my car getting in?
No. Non-destructive entry is the whole point of calling a locksmith rather than forcing it yourself. In the rare case where a lock genuinely can't be opened without drilling — a seized or high-security cylinder, for example — I'll explain that before I start, along with what it will cost to put right.
My wallet is locked inside. Can you still help?
Tell me on the phone. I take card, cash, check, Zelle, Cash App and Venmo, so there's usually a way to pay. What I can't skip is the ownership check — but that can often be satisfied with documents inside the car or house once we're in.
